Carmen Jenner has this uncanny ability to make her characters likable and you can’t help but to fall in love with them. Its official I’m a Taint Groupie and proud of it. I love all those boys le sigh.Before I begin, two words: Love Triangle. And I've read love triangle stories before but this one will tug at your heart strings a bit and just like the heroine you’ll fall head over heels for both men.Cooper Ryan is introduced in the Sugar Town series. He’s Holly’s ex; the one who left his girl behind to pursue his dream of being a rock star and in the process he loses his girl and child to a man from his woman’s past. From that moment on Coop becomes jaded and heart broken. He doesn't know how he’ll make it through until the moment he meets Ali Jones. And in that instant he knows he has to have her, so he makes her a part of his contract demands. He wants her as the band’s PA no matter the cost. Let’s just say things get a whole lot interesting.As always Carmen knows how to make her heroines sassy, witty, feisty, and funny as all hell. She did not disappoint with Ali. Her dialogue always had me laughing out loud. She may hate Coop’s guts but she can’t help being attracted to his smirk and his arrogant swag. Seriously, I don’t blame her at all. Coop is one beautiful sexy man who’s vulnerable and sweet yet a total alpha.Holy banter and sexual tension. Ugh the threesome is what makes this book bloody worth it because ladies not only is Coop hot but there’s also Levi, Zed, and Ash. Yummy. I love them all!!!So let’s take a moment to appreciate Levi Quinn. He’s got a heart of gold and a massive c**k. He’s also vulnerable and he protects himself by being the womanizer and the jokester. There is no ifs, and, buts about it, I will one-click and read anything Carmen writes. If you are familiar with her books, then you know that she doesn't do the conventional lovey-dovey romance stories. Instead she gives you real, flawed, raw and vulnerable characters whose actions and emotions are the main aspect of the story-line. With her wicked and brilliant story-telling, Carmen douses her readers with pure raw emotions that are tangible and palpable. She allows her readers to FEEL. And in her newest release, REVELRY, I felt every range of emotions from sadness, loneliness, happiness, bliss, pleasure and love.If you read Carmen's Sugartown series, then you would have met Cooper Ryan, a rocker whose ex left him brokenhearted. Reeling from the heartache that Holly Harris left, Cooper didn't want to fall in love again and give his heart to anyone again that is until he met another fiery sassy mouth red-hair that he craved. Ali Jones was everything that Cooper craved and desired. She didn't back down to him. The chemistry between them was sizzling and palpable. So as the PA of Cooper, she tried to keep her distance and keep it a working relationship that is until a love triangle/menage occurs with Cooper, Ali, and Levi, a fellow band mate of Cooper for his band TAINT. As this rocker love triangle/menage occurs, will Cooper be able to share Ali knowing that he belongs to her the moment she laid her eyes on him?I usually don't like to read love triangles but for some reason Carmen has bewitched me with REVELRY. This book had a love triangle done right because all parties knew going in on what they were doing and the consequences of their actions. And ultimately the decision on which guy Ali ends up with is her decision alone. What I love about this book is that both men vying for the heart of Ali were able to capture and tug my heartstrings. Though this book might not be everyone since it does contain drug use, M/F/M and love triangles, I will say that Ms. Jenner did this book tastefully. She douses this book with humor, banter, sass, sadness, and passion that you can't help but revel in the pure bliss of love and the matters of the heart.As always, I am addicted to Carmen's writing and can't wait to see what she has in store for the next installment, Hurt.~Michelle of Four Chicks Flipping Pages

I read the blurb, and then the reviews, and decided to give it a try. I am a sucker for a godo rockstar read. Some of the reviews mentioned the crassness as well as the drug use, but I didn't mind the latter part of this. They are rock stars after all. I found myself chuckling aloud at some humorous banter, and at first I was pretty interested in the h. She seemed to be resistant to the 'rock star' charm and hold her own. She really wants a career in the music business. But there is only ever inner dialogue about her interest and some conversation between her and the H about the business (which of course he is so impressed with), but you never actually see her doing anything for the band in a professional capacity. The bookd quickly goes downhill for me once the band goes on tour. It had high hopes and then it just took a turn for the weird and unnecessary. One reviewer said these characters were strong. They are not. The H is weak and selfish and a big cry baby who only goes after the girl once someone else makes a play for his shiny toy, and the h is pretty much weak as well with zero self respect.***Spoilers***The blurb pretty much just gives you what happens in the first 10% of the book. And the tour wouldn't be the 'tour from hell' if the h and H didn't make it such.There is a bet on who will 'bang' the h first when they go on tour. And she just gets high and drunk and sleeps with the guitarist because her feelings were hurt by the H. The the three of them start having some messed up three way relationship with the two males, in their own way, trying to win her heart. Its just gross.***I am not a fan of M/F/M story lines, and the blurb really should have mentioned that this was a "love" triangle. Plenty of people like that, I don't and I wouldn't have bought the book if I did. And when I have read them, I feel like it has been pulled off better than this one. There was no need really to have this, but then I guess there would have been zero story line if it wasn't thrown in there. We don't really get to see the guys being rock stars, and we don't get to see the h working towards her dream. This was just a story of a selfish "rockstar" and a girl with absolutely no self respect. And I am not saying that as a double standard. Sleep with whomever you want and however many people you want...girl power and all that. But to actively participate in a conversation with guys on who is going to sleep with you first, then for no reason at all screwing two guys repeatedly, your just cheap. This book was horrible. I made it to 65% and just couldn't be bothered anymore with these horrible characters. I paid $0.99 for this book and I wouldn't read another one in the series even if they were free.
