In Viper Team Seven, Lewis has superbly written and brilliantly masterminded a most powerful and gripping novel. This book is so laden with action that it is sure to consume all of your free time, and undoubtedly keep you up way past your bedtime. It is nearly impossible to put down.I really liked how the author has approached the terrorist storyline in a refreshing style all his own. He has done a great job creating the plot and it is evident there was careful research behind it. I also found the characters in the novel to be very likable, and they seemed to leap off the page with their realism.But best of all, I was delighted to have found an author that has done an astounding job of bonding the gap between Christian viewpoints and thriller/suspense. Viper Team Seven in no way lacks the intense action of Vince Flynn, Brad Thor, or Tom Clancy, but Lewis has sensitively spared the reader of all the unnecessary profanity and vulgarity. However, Lewis has kept his book clean without overdoing it and becoming "preachy." His book is truly something that both Christians and non-Christians will enjoy.I really can't say enough good things about this book. I would highly recommend this read, and advise anyone looking for an addicting novel to add Viper Team Seven to their bookshelf. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!I am impatiently awaiting his next book in the series.

He has created a solid cast of characters and a suspense filled storyline. Major Keith Parks "KP" is the new head of an elite counter terrorism team and he has his work cut off for him. There are terrorists afoot with a diabolical plan to destroy America. The questions swirl around Viper Team Seven. Which country has sponsored the terrorism? What is the ultimate goal of the terrorists? How are the terrorists staying one step ahead of "KP" and his team? Will Viper Team Seven be able to stop the terrorists in time? Rykar Lewis will keep you guessing throughout the twists and turns of this story. His writing places you squarely in the middle of the action. Lewis is a great, young writer that will leave you excited about the future missions of Viper Team Seven.

It is a testimonial to our service people who put their lives on the line to keep our country and all of us safe. It is also a wonderful reminder that we should never lose our faith in God. A Great Book for People Thinking of Starting Yoga By Hillary Once a year around my birthday- especially now that I'm getting up in age- I vow that I will incorporate yoga into my life. But I never do, and then it's my birthday again. I really do want the yoga benefits that I hear so much about, I mean who doesn't, except I can never get over the pain, or the shame, of not being flexible. Which is why when I searched for a yoga book to inspire me again this year, I couldn't believe my luck.After reading Dr. Shelton's The Yoga Doctor: Your Essential Guide to Pain-Free Lifelong Yoga Practice, I'm beginning to understand why I may have felt pain those few times I tried yoga in the past. Maybe if my yoga instructor read Dr. Shelton's book she would have had a better understanding of anatomy and helped me make proper adjustments or if I had read it at the time, I would have realized that every body is different, yoga isn't a competition and there are safe and unsafe sensations; instead, I left class that day feeling bad that I couldn't hold the position as long as everyone else and never went back- forfeiting any yoga benefits.Until now that is. The Yoga Doctor provided me with lots of information about what happens on the inside while the body executes a yoga position (she uses a specific position and illustrates and explains), and then she follows up with what to notice, pay attention to, and how to protect. Everything was explained in a way I could comprehend and use. I recommend this book to anyone like me who wants to do yoga but prefers it pain-free or a yoga instructor who would like to know more so they can help all students in their class stay the course.

Great Sequencing, Well Written, Practical Guide By Amazon Customer Alright, first off, in the interest of transparency let me state that I am related to the illustrator of this book. However, I am an honest reviewer and I have the advantage of knowing first hand how awesome the author is. She genuinely cares as a teacher about empowering people through her work as a yoga instructor.So what's the deal? The content is 1) relevant, 2) well organized in a sequence that makes sense (macro to micro) 3) a pleasure to read. I've been reading it and been picking up little things here and there about the body and I'm beginning to realize that I need to approach stretching differently (starting with doing more of it).If there is ONE thing that bothered me was no ToC. But this being the first day of the release and the author not making me an alpha reader (ahem) I imagine its coming? I just like to skip around quickly as well as get a rundown on the material before I purchase a book so I'm giving you a heads up. Below I threw in a quick overview of what is inside:*The sections are broken into chapters in the book.Section 1: Body structures... gives a run down on a high level description of connective tissue. I like this, as you progress through the book you see how foundational this information is. I hate how many books and courses gloss over stuff like this. One thing, I thought I'd highlight is Chapter 4: Safe vs Unsafe sensations gives some highly practical information for when you know a posture or body position is stretching ligaments or muscles or what have you. Why isn't this taught in school!? It is so foundational and something everyone should know. I also found out my stretched LCL is unlikely to ever heal. Sad.Section 2: The spine... This is all about the spine. Deep stretching needs to be carefully done here because when you stretch ligaments out, they don't go back! And, they are integral to spinal stability. I also found out my pelvis is probably in anteversion because my Psoas is too tight, from sitting, and... that is why my lower back hurts.Section 3: The Arms...Section 4: The Legs...Conclusion:This book is seriously dense and the information inside isn't only pertinent to yoga practice... but life in general. This book has inspired me to learn more about my own anatomy. As a strength training coach, lifter, and long time athlete my thought was, hey I pretty much know about the body... its made of muscles and things and stuff. Right? I was way off. While I know proper mechanics, I do not know the WHY of proper mechanics from which proper mechanics can be derived. Which is crucial. Its so easy to take our bodies for granted! This guide is very well sequenced for starting at the root of things and moving towards the practical.

It provides everything we need to know if we are to practice yoga safely. I have tried yoga before, but when it became painful, I stopped. I would have loved to continue, but it didn't seem like a good idea. After reading this book I feel I have enough information to begin practicing yoga in a safe manner again. Very easy to read and understand, as it contains illustrations that make everything quicker to understand and put into practice.The author explains what happens in our bodies during different yoga positions - also very helpful when practicing yoga effectively. The author is a yoga and anatomy teacher trained in medicine. I already recommended this book to my friends and I will continue to do so. I am very happy with my purchase.Thank you, Dr. Patricia Shelton, for writing this book!

This time they opened the window in the bedroom wide then went into the bathroom, checked the man in the bath was dead, opened the window wide, picked up the canister, put the extractor fan on and walked out leaving the bathroom door open. They looked around to make sure they hadn’t missed anything before opening the room door, had a quick look into the hall, then ran back into the room opposite. This time they missed seeing the drunk just coming around the corner who stopped in shock as he saw the strange apparition disappearing into the room. This is the third client of Kitty Catt , who is employed by The Secrets Agency as an exclusive escort to the rich and famous, to die in suspicious circumstances and it is the job of DCI Harry Carter with the help of Investigative Journalist Samantha Richmond to work out what or who is killing them. By Tiffany Hunter I'm a Reiki Master Teacher and I've changed how I teach because of this book. I can't say enough about it. It shaves so much off of Reiki that is unnecessary, and in doing so reveals the purity of the vibration and the need for it in humans. The culture we live in is increasingly less balanced and we continue to feel the consequences of that, this book shows how the Reiki vibration as an antidote for that. And, it directly answers the raised eyebrows of people who may be feeling that this is just another overblown claim of a Reiki Master Teacher. It bravely tackles lots of questions about Reiki directly: of what Reiki is, and what Reiki isn't, and why failed claims and disappointments abound, at the very same time the vibration is undervalued and misunderstood. It's not a coffee table book, and it's not in the spiritual genre. It's about the human energy field and what it needs to maintain health and balance. It is not afraid to reveal how Reiki works on the body, and where, and it does it in the context of Energy Medicine, while giving enough information about Energy Medicine for all readers to understand why that is important. It's an excellent starting point for all people, with or without Reiki attunements, who want to more fully understand their own energy and how to take care of it.

It places Reiki as a healing vibration not a spiritual path. Reading this book has changed my practice and understanding of Reiki and I recommend it to all my clients because it clearly outlines what Reiki is and isn't. There is a clear message about the benefits of Reiki for self-care which I love. The book presents Reiki and its place within energy medicine in a way that encourages reflection and discussion. This is the perfect starter book if you know nothing about Reiki. Experienced Reiki practitioners will also find food for thought and a view of Reiki that in my eyes has great merit.

By TimH I am a Reiki Master/Teacher and have read a number of books on the subject and this book is a welcome change to many others on the subject of Reiki. It keeps the focus on the energy that is Reiki, rather than spending time looking at things that can detract from the simple and wonderful natural healing energy at the heart of our practice. This book explains what Reiki is (and isn't) in straightforward language, and why Reiki should be something that you should learn and give to yourself on a daily basis.This book really does supply information on many levels, and each time I have read it I have gained a deeper understanding. I am deeply grateful to Chyna for writing this book.Reading this book has also made me revisit and update the information I share with my students.

Roddom THE FAIRY TALE BRIDE is a novella and the first in the Montana born Bride series of connecting stories by different authors that are set around the upcoming wedding of a local girl turned celebrity.Being a novella the author Scarlet Wilson doesn’t have a lot of time to expand on the characters and develop a lot of background, But Scarlet managed to deal with the constraints very well. Being set in a small town in Montana where everyone knows everyone else’s business adds to the story because background information is given to the reader by gossiping locals. Lisa Renee owns the Marietta bridal salon. Her aim is to find the perfect dresses and accessories for brides and their attendants. Now a local girl made big in Hollywood is coming home to have her wedding away from the big smoke. With her comes two spoiled petulant Hollywood starlets who have rejected every bridesmaids dress in every store in the big city. Can Lisa Renee find the perfect frocks for these two before she kills them, or the bride does!!!When she is not making brides happy Lisa Renee is up in the local hospital’s paediatric ward volunteering with the sick children. Her sister Grace died of Leukaemia and she realised the importance of having someone not medical around to read, listen or just hold a hand and care. Lisa Renee is giving back to the hospital what she received. She is reading a fairy story to a child with cancer when Dr Adam Brady first spies her. By Lisa Boy meets girl, boy and girl grow up being best friends, girl’s biological alarm clock goes off early causing boy to freak out and go all he-man. That’s pretty much what happens when Avery Yeung finds out she has the same cancer gene that killed her mom and caused her older sister such heart break. She chooses to get pregnant before she isn’t able to and her best friend, the sexy Sheriff Drew Flannery, freaks out and decides he’s going to be the father and their going to do it the old fashioned way.There is only one person who truly understands Drew Flannery and that’s his best friend Avery. She’s strong, independent, and she feeds him great tasting food. He in return keeps her supplied with great tasting coffee and they both enjoy game nights (Avery is the reigning champ on Mario Cart). So when she announces that she’s going to have a baby he doesn’t take it well. Avery pregnant with another man’s baby? Nope, not gonna happen. He decides if she’s going to do this than he’s going to be the sperm donor and their going to make this baby the old fashioned way.In the Kitchen, on a patrol car, let the sex-capades begin! But as they cross that line from friends to lovers, deeper emotions start to emerge and questions begin to arise. I mean the chemistry just sizzles right off the page. Drew, a strong, sexy hero who has some deep rooted childhood commitment issues because of an alcoholic father. In Avery you have this wonderful feisty heroine that although she gets sucker punched by her own DNA she doesn’t let it keep her from getting what she wants.If you’re a fan of hot and sexy romances that are just so entertaining that you fly right through reading them, then this book is for you. By Romance Between The Sheets Please note this review may contain spoilers.Avery has a family history of cancer that will affect her chances of having children if she leaves it too late, so she’s determined to beat the clock and fall pregnant before her 28th birthday. When she tells her best friend, Drew, of her plans to have a baby via a sperm donor, he’s adamant that it’s going to be his baby she carries so that he can support her and the baby whenever they need it. Of course his other reason is that he’s desperate to sleep with her as he’s been secretly crushing on her since they were teenagers.Sadly, one of the things that let the book down was the cliche scene that causes the couple to break up, just so the guy can come in and sweep the girl off her feet again. You know the scene I’m talking about. Things are going great until Boy has an epiphany that he’ll never be good enough for Girl at the exact moment Girl decides she’s going to tell Boy she loves him. Upon hearing Girl’s declaration, Boy drops her like a hot potato. Girl is left heartbroken while Boy is left a slovenly wreck while he wallows in the decision he made. Boy finally realises he was wrong and makes a grand gesture which has Girl forgiving him in a matter of minutes.What also disappointed me with this book is that I disliked more characters than I liked. I liked Avery for coming to terms with her possible bleak future and making the tough decision to go after her dream before it was too late. What I didn’t like about Avery though was her constant fear that she was trampling all over her sister’s heart just because her sister couldn’t have kids. I get that her sister would be upset because of her inability to have children, but I felt her sister’s reactions were a little selfish. I hated her grandfather for being a terrible human being, and I felt no love for her father and grandmother as they’re nothing but cowards. Lastly, I didn’t really like Drew at all. I think he was written to be an alpha, but he annoyed me more often than not. His attitude towards Avery insisting that she carry his baby and his alone was not sexy and went against his belief that he’d never be father material because of his rough past.While I’ve voiced a lot of negatives, I thought the book was well written and flowed smoothly. I’ve read books from Katee before and from memory I quite enjoyed them, so I’m not sure if perhaps I wasn’t in the mood for this type of story or if my tastes have changed, but days later I still find myself disappointed with this book.

Falling For His Best Friend is about Avery and Drew, who have been best friends since childhood. Avery is faced with a surgical procedure that will render her unable to have children. She's always wanted kids. Since there's no man on her radar, and she's not getting any younger, she decides to have a baby while she still can. When she tells her friends of her intentions, everybody is behind her except for Drew.Drew reacts very badly to Avery's news of deciding to have a child. It bothered him to no end that Avery would be carrying another man's baby-a donor of course. She is the only one who knows all his secrets and has always been there for him. He decides he should be the donor because that's what best friends do.... He tells her he can give her a child and then be in the baby's life like an uncle. Yes, you can see how this is going to go!Avery decides to take Drew up on his offer, only he tells her he won't be giving any specimens in a clinic. They will do this the old-fashioned way! He's always fantasized about how she would be and this is his opportunity to find out! For the baby of course! Yikes! The sex is super hot in this book! As they progress with knocking Avery up, their lines of just friendship start to blur. Their deep feelings for each other start to emerge. But neither wants to lose their friendship if things didn't work out. Both in turn, shove the other away trying to deal with these feelings.I love the way that Katee Robert wrote this story. She gave us what was going on in each character's head-which wasn't always what they were saying out loud. It gave us the clear picture how they were already in love with each other. How each was struggling so hard to turn it back to the way it was before, because they were scared to lose the other. Neither could fathom living without the other in their life, so they were trying to shut down how they were feeling. Just the right amount of angst!I whole-heartedly enjoyed this book and highly recommend reading it! So romantic and just a fun read! Out of Uniform is such a good series! I look forward to hopefully a future book with Avery's sister, Alexis! About the Author

Caroline Linden was born a reader, not a writer. She earned a math degree from Harvard University and wrote computer software before turning to writing fiction. Twelve years, sixteen books, three Red Sox championships, and one dog later, she has never been happier with her decision. I definitely wouldn't read as a stand alone because the previous storyline is mentioned quite frequently. The plotline felt very rushed and there wasn't a lot of dialogue, but oh there was a ton of inner dialogue...like pages. I found myself skimming. I wish there had been more witty banter between Penelope and Ben. I'm just kind of meh about this book. I thought more about her friend Olivia and her brother Jaime and what was going to happen than I did for the H/HH of this story.

Wonderful historical romance By Pamerd This is a wonderful series; I have enjoyed reading about these three friends and their scandalous reading material since the first book. Two have found their heroes with amazing stories; and Penelope’s is just as delightful as she finds love with the least likely man.Penelope Weston is feeling lonely, her sister and best friend are recently married and she feels left out as she tries to enjoy the season in London. She has befriended a young girl who seems to be enamored by Benedict Atherton, a man who almost ruined her sister Abigail’s husband. Penelope is angry with Benedict and puts notions in the girl’s head about love, which prompts her to turn down his proposal. But when Penelope gets into trouble helping her friend Olivia, she finds Benedict is the only one that will assist her, with marriage.Benedict has had a difficult life; his father is a brute who terrorized his family through both physical and verbal abuse. He has done his best to shelter his sisters and mother by agreeing to anything his father wanted, even to the detriment of others as he has lost friends over his choices. He regrets many things and wants to break the ties that bind him to his father but without money he feels his options are limited, marriage to a wealthy woman is what he is striving for and amazingly Penelope happens to fulfill his wish and is in need of a savior.This is another remarkable story from Ms. Linden. The books in the Scandalous series have become favorites of mine; it is a series which features engaging characters with interesting life struggles, flaws and delightful romances.Penelope is adorable, she is bright and witty but a little lonely since her sister and best friend have married. Yet, she also seems to entangle herself in situations that are hard to get out of, even with the best intentions. She mangles the second attempt of marriage for Benedict and then when she tries to help her friend Olivia with the evil Mr. Clary, she falls into a scandal that only marriage will get her out of.Benedict is a wonderful hero, albeit he had to prove himself to me as he left a bad impression in the last book; but I knew there was something special about him. He has been hiding specifics about his past and when they come to light we understand much more.I like the romance in this book, they both want to find a special bond and connection from the person they marry and I like how each really strives to make it happen, it is a sweet romance that they truly work together to achieve. They have chemistry to burn and I like that she is as interested and aware of their attraction as he is. She is full of spunk, speaks her mind and Benedict loves that about her, she even stands up to Benedicts father which not many do. He thought he wanted a docile wife but after spending time with her, does not remember why.The pace of the book moves quickly as the scandal that starts the ball rolling takes place early and continues to cause issues throughout the story. There are secrets and hidden pasts that come out to bring light to some animosity and guilt. Secondary characters play important roles, we get to see several characters from the previous books and find out how their lives have continued. The ending has some twists and turns and although I am very satisfied with how things turn out, I did want a bit more closure from Benedict and his father’s relationship. I am also intrigued with a storyline that is left up in the air, what has happened with Olivia and Penelope’s brother Jaime, is there another story in the works? This can easily be read as a standalone, the author does a great job of keeping the reader informed. By Abby84 Giving this book one star obligates me to giving an explanation. It is difficult because this book is simply b o r I n g. The characters were introduced to each other and readers in a previous book. Apparently the most exciting and wonderful part of their relationship happened in the last book. That interlude is referred to in nearly every chapter.This book is a set up to buy the last (or first ) book and the next one.The heroine was not interesting. The hero was a plodding character.The veiled references to 50 Shades of Gray was annoying. ....Heroine's main hobby was reading pornography and once she married they used magazine as training manual. Not bondage, That was referenced for later, just drones on about how exciting sex.is going to be because books and friends tell her so.This book is.filled with cliches and written in an ode to laziness. Very limited emotions and interaction.Nothing original and no beguiling interaction between characters.Anne gracie or.Mary jo Putney or Connie brockway are amazing romantic Adventure authors.Money is tough to get: check this out of the library if you love the author or try someone else if you do not.Sorry, I didn't want it to be a sadly disappointing book on a lovely day. I can't think of any good thing about this book.... it's not offensive. But it doesn't stick to the time period. Hero threatened antagonist with telling the Ton he tried to rape HIM!That was a bit shocking and it didn't work either. Just a word salad. ...bits of this and that but never worked out.

I just finished reading the series and know that it will be continued in 2017. I can't wait. What I liked was seeing past couple pop up in other books in the series so you could see what was happening in their lives. This series sucked in in from the first book.
