I am not a big fan of BDSM or punishment - especially Aiden spanking Mary with a belt as punishment the first time they are together and basically the first date -- it was weird and I didn't like Aiden very much. I just don't understand that need to punish - or abuse their date. I am a huge fan of 50 shades of grey, but this did nothing for me - I didn't care for it at all. I guess I like some fun in the bedroom, but don't like punishment and that dark side. I wanted kids - which brings up another point -- did they use a condom - did she get on birth control? No answers on that question. I just didn't get the same depth of love and obsession as the Callaghan Brothers. It was an alright book, just my least favorite of the series. I will still be reading more of Abbie Zander's books.

7 of 7 people found the following review helpful. Didn't really work for me By Nurse SportsFan Aiden is head of the Celtic Goddess franchise. Mary is a widow, who is just average in every way. Aiden is tired of wondering whether women are interested in him or his money, so on New Years Eve, he goes to an average bar. Here he meets Mary. They have an instant connection and he doesn't let on who he really is.I read this book for the sole reason that I read every other book in this series. Aiden is pretty arrogant throughout the books, but he seems more down to earth in this book. Mary didn't really make sense to me. She is supposed to be an average woman, yet was very interested in being Aiden's sub. I hated how her friends and neighbors refused to see her as anything other than a grieving widow, even though it had been years since her husband died. She just seemed to be such a weak woman to me, I wanted her to stand up and tell people what she thought and stand up for herself. Also, as in previous books, I feel the author should research her medical conditions thoroughly before writing about them with her own assumptions.

The Callaghan boy books were awesome when they started out By Amazon Customer The Callaghan boy books were awesome when they started out, with intrigue, seal power action, smart independent woman, now they are little more than plot less sex twists. Come on what woman in 2015 allows a man into her home without doing a google search to find out how he is? Has sex with said man, the second time he is in her house without protection. What happened to the strong independent woman? I had a very hard time with the last book and am not sure I can finish this one. Sad, I miss the special operations missions, the intrigue, the sex was an add to make a good plot more intense, now it is just sees like sex and not much more.

The struggle that Chase is having with his career, the situation presented with one of his teammate and his past is putting Faith constantly questioning herself why she is still there? Answer: because she love Chase and he love her. And no matter what.....she still believe in him. "The wounds, at least were temporarily closed"....not anymore. The moment of truth has arrived.....and I can't wait for this final book to come soon enough!!!

Chase is taking Faith on the ride of her life.The build up of this book will show how the relationship between the two of them can with stand all the secrets that are bound to come to the surface and can the love they have for each other be able to hold up. Mcgoff No doubt about this is a great book ,BUT as I said on previous book, Not stand alone , in fact 1 to 4 read like one book. And with the ending could be a 6th book, but I will not be buying it. As I read a book a day 4.66 per book is too expensive even though first one free, have spent over 20.00 for 3 to 5, maybe a great book but not that great.

I had a hard time putting this series down and couldn't wait until I read the next episode . I am disappointed, however, that the author made this a 5 part series. It seems when I really was absorbed in the book, it ended. Each episode was not even 200 pages with the exception of episode 5, which was a little over 200 pages, When purchasing the whole series, this became a little expensive. Could have easily been a 2 or 3 part series. I will definitely see how many pages each episode is before deciding to purchase another series from this author.

The prior books had more details and development .It almost seemed rushed. One of the most important themes was her past and that was just glossed over.in the end. We weren't told about the details of her father's involvement and what they actually did. Was the prison investigation done?. Throwing Jack's dad in at the last seemed odd.Is there another book commuting out? So maybe Christmas with as introduced and not followed up.

Incredibly Helpful By Amazon Reader12 I always wanted someone beside me to help me, motivate my self-esteem whenever there was a milestone in my life to achieve. But everyone cannot be around always to boost us and hence I started losing my self-confidence and hence I lost few of my important achievements in life. I was shattered, depressed and wanted to become confident. I started browsing internet for some books which can act as a long termed best friend and then I found this book self-esteem.The book had a detailed table of contents segregating each topic of the book precisely. It made me understand the concept of inner eye, inner self very well. As I was proceeding I was feeling relaxed, contended and happy that this book was making me feel confident. Something which I liked the most was the theories; the Abraham Maslow’s theory of Human motivation was the best one which inspired me the most.This book also helped me established my different mood swing like Anger, Frustration, Depression, Anxiety. It helped me understand these emotions in better way and helped me express all of these in better way to avoid negative critical thoughts about yourself. I then started feeling confident and gained trust in myself that I can perform, achieve and be happening always without being worried what if I am correct at every moment in my life. I started taking the “State Self esteem test” mentioned in the book. That largely helped me find my positives and stay connected to those positive regularly.With time, I was improved from a weak, confused person to confident person who could perform the task, who could set targets and achieve goals. I have improved my life since then and this book has become my motivational friend, whenever I feel low and need focus and motivation I turn down to spend some time with this book. Reading this book again and again brings back my confidence and directs me towards my goals.

I am a small business owner from the midwest and it takes a lot of confidence to put yourself out there with the slow market in my area. Even with the thick skin from criticism you’ll get in my position, this book will open your mind to stuff you never put into thought but you had an idea was a thing like: your inner eye, improving by becoming the things you like in other people and understanding the difference between explicit, implicit, narcissism and egotism.In my younger day, I had taken some courses in psychology and sociology and this touches the basics like Maslow’s hierarchy of needs and types of self-esteem (adaptive, competence-based and defensive) but this book also goes into ideas we didn’t touch on like the sociometer theory of self-esteem. There is a particularly large section on building your self-esteem and that is a huge positive on finding out more about yourself and gauge how you evaluate and carry yourself and how you can improve that process. Whether you are looking for help in this specific subject or just want something supplementary in your reading diet, this will be a great read!

Great info By Lucidity I have read several self-help books regarding self esteem and anxiety, but I can say with certainty that Alexandra Strong's is by far one of the best that I have came across so far.The book is comprehensive, informative and insightful, yet not in a way where it seems too dense to be understood or to the point that it bores the reader; the information is laid out in a conversational, easy-to-understand manner, which is one of the main reasons of why I enjoyed 'Developing Self-Esteem' so much.

It is a sweet romance between widowed mom Ariel and Psychologist Mathias (Matt) Poole. Matt not only appreciates Ariel's subtle beauty but he is smitten with her daughter Dani. Throw in a censoring and critical mother-in-law and you have a recipe for drama. The author carefully deals with the issues of loss and lingering bereavement as seen through the eyes of several characters. Not to give anything away, I found myself pitying and understanding the former mother-in-law's controlling behavior. She could have been any mother after losing a child. Even Matt's father finally comes to terms with his own loss. Don't expect the characters to willingly confess their undying love for each other. Matt had commitment issues and Ariel had no desire to make him feel trapped. Matt, however, had other ideas; he was in it to win her heart and to protect his new family. I do recommend this book as an enjoyable read.I received an advanced reading copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

While I have enjoyed some of her previous stories in this series more, I was not disappointed with the third installment. Both H & H were likable. I received an ARC for my honest review.

Sophia is an author of children's stories and she believes in the fairy tale that true love waits for her. While at a party thrown by her publisher, she meets Van Longshadow and she is drawn to him. What is his secret and can she trust him that it is the truth? This is a fast paced story with suspense thrown in. It will keep you reading until the end just to see what happens next. Can't wait to read the next one to see what happens with Sophia and Van. This is a first for me from Willow Brooks and I can't wait for more.

I love that it's long and wasn't 85% sex. Im continuing with book 2 because I'm desperate to know what will happen next. The suspense is driving me crazy.

Updated kindle version much better By daggertoes83 While I will not go into details as to what this product is since most people viewing will know that it is a further understanding of the chapters they are reading. I bought this today being that it was free and I am very happy I did. I see other reviews saying that the index and getting to other chapters is not user friendly. While I no doubt believe at one point it may have been this way, it is now anything but. You can select your chapter that you want to go to. You can select the book you want to go to. Very pleased with the new updated version and see no big changes in the content within. While the kindle version is a near perfect product, in my opinion its still easier when it comes to refrence books to use actual text. That is the only reason I give it 4 stars. This product is however very worth it if you are going to be using a kindle. And its free.

Woods The Table of Contents is poorly formatted, often flowing over to the next line and missing subsequent line breaks. There is no navigation structure within the book other than TOC. For $10 (for a public domain work) I expected an ebook, not raw text with limited nav aids. can I get my money back?Followup: Amazon Customer Support was nice enough to refund my money. They investigated the publication and recognized the formatting errors. They said they would try to get them fixed, but I assume that is up to Treasures Media. In the meantime, I will now follow these rules:1. Never buy an ebook that I cannot first sample2. Never buy an ebook from Treasures Media

Tex is back on the rise after coming out of hiding, and Ruby is trying to deal with how her life is changing by deciding to be with Tex.In Cry For You we get to meet a new character, and to say I hated her would be an understatement. Denise enters the picture, and she's sort of crazy, well she's full on crazy, but that's not a secret, as soon as you get her POV you'll see what I'm talking about. This girl scared the crap out of me with her plans and what she wanted to do. I was upset for Ruby for what she had to deal with. She figured Denise out, but Tex acted like he didn't believe her. Since this book is told in the points of view of Ruby, Tex, and Denise, you see he knows this girl is a problem, but doesn't want Ruby to know (typical man). By keeping her out of the loop he made her more vulnerable to Denise's attack.sI did like how Ruby stood up to Tex and started to come out of her shell a bit in this book. She did things, not necessarily for herself, but what she thought she needed to do to keep Tex. One thing she worries about in this book a lot is where their relationship goes next, I wish she would have talked to him about her fears and what was on her mind instead of keeping it all inside. She's conflicted, and I understand that, but a healthy relationship isn't built on hiding things from the person you care about.I really did enjoy how this story played out. Towards the end I was on pins and needles, and then I was feeling better about how things were going to go, and was then hit with the last few sentences in this book. I am really nervous for how things are going to go for Tex and Ruby now, I want them to be happy, because I adore them together. I think they do bring out the best in one another, and seeing how much Tex loves Ruby makes me want them to get their HEA more than anything. I will be diving in to book 3 now to see how things end up for these two amazing characters.*NOTE:* Cry For You is not a stand alone, to understand this story completely, you need to read Rock You first.

Tex finds Ruby in his studio, where she said she would be. After Tex’s big comeback performance at the Festival, not only did he still want Ruby…he only thought of her. After coming home and staking a claim on Ruby, he promised her he would protect her from any danger that could come her way. But when a crazy fan started making herself known, without even realizing it. Her stalking and crazy ways of winning Tex, started to get in the way. How much can Tex really protect Ruby from a psycho stalker, that would do anything to ruin Ruby and pull them apart in any way necessary?As Ruby and Tex grow closer and their sex life gets busier, the crazy fan was plotting her next move on how to split them apart.I enjoyed this book as much as the first, but this book takes a serious turn when the stalker decided to do everything she can to win Tex. Even though Tex bad side came out this book, I couldn’t stay mad at him too long. He was just too sweet and delicious to be mad at. We all have our flaws and Tex showed a big part of that in his book. No matter how angry he may have gotten, he still showed how much he cared for Ruby and will do anything to love and protect her.An awesome follow up to book 2, I cannot wait to read the 3rd and final book of this series. Excelente historia By Gaby No he querido comentar sobre la historia con los dos libros anteriores, ya que he leído tantas trilogías en cuyo autor emplea una imaginación que enriquece a tal modo el primer libro que la expectativas del lector son tan elevadas que los comentarios de la primera parte son alucinantes, pero lamentablemente el resto de la historia pierde completamente la emoción de su historia, y se torna en una secuela comercial, vulgar y aburrida.Esto no es lo que puedo decir de esta trilogía en la cual por fin encontré una historia interesante que me mantuvo atenta en cada uno de sus párrafos, por lo bello de su narrativa y lo bien elaborado de todos sus libros.Aunque la historia es un tanto irreal por lo perfección de su protagonista, es una trilogía que realmente vale la pena leer.

She writes such interesting characters and compelling tales, filled with steamy sex and romantic interludes! She definitely achieved excellence again with POLAR HEAT!The complexity of the story was very engaging for me. I loved how she developed Riley, the main female protagonist in the story. She had a dark and surprising past which haunted her in a very unique way. I really enjoyed the depth of the different cultures from which Russ, the main male protagonist of the story, was raised. The clash of modern and traditional elements was well written.Of course, the love scenes were steamy, as always! One thing I admire about the way Simone writes is that her sex scenes aren't just random nor are they the focus of her tale. The romance is used to heighten the story and to bond the characters so they are very moving and tender, even when they are rugged and primal. In this particular book, I was delighted by the way the author presented the animal and human lusts and drives that created Russ. I enjoyed the way she melded the beast with his humanity, especially when it came to the shape-shifting aspect.As always, this was well written and engaging. I literally read it in a day! I love Alaska, Native American culture, the myths and legends of shape-shifting, and of course, romance! This book exceeded my expectations and was an enjoyable read. I definitely recommend it to readers 18+!

He is also a bear shifter, and the moment that his bear scents Riley, he knows that she is his. Russ also can dream walk, and finds himself in Riley's dreams. She also can dream walk, but faces danger both in the real world and the dream world. Can Russ protect and claim Riley as his, as well as win her heart? What secrets and dangers does Riley keep to herself? A very good read. A little bit of magic, some sweet, some sexy- the whole package!

The couple has some great extreme emotions with all their situations. Bella is a hoot! I hope she gets her story told soon and I'm guessing she'll end up with Ethan. The banana story is freaking hilarious! I never can get enough of the pranks between Rye and Brin. The blue dye and cowboy hat incident is just tripping! The other couples are just as great in their own sweet ways. Can't wait to read Corbin's story with Ruby in Triple Dare. I'm interested on getting to know him more. Settling Maverick down will be alot of fun to read too!I just love The Sterling Shore Series! Your awesome C.M. Owens!

A redo did not disappoint at all. If anything, it was way better than I originally thought it'd be and let me tell you my standard of this book was already set high. I am so glad wren got his book and loved to see him grow not only as a character but as a father as well throughout the book. You can tell right away how out of place he was trying to figure out how to navigate being a dad along with his relationship with his daughters mom.If you haven't read any of the sterling shore series get on that, before you pick this one up!

Loved reading how the calm, collected and controlled Wren get so alpha male. It's so sexy it hurts. Love Allie's strengths, kindness, composure and oh so sexy classy. They are so good together. The sex scenes are hot, the sweet scenes are heartwarming and their interactions with the other characters are hilarious. Love catching up with the other characters. So much fun and great family. Can't wait for the next books.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. A Sexy and Sweet Threesome. By betweenthecovers ...and I'm not just talking about the 3 story set. I enjoyed the first two stories a little more than the last. If you like motorcycle club fiction this is a good series with lots of steamy sex scenes and good writing. As a fantasy concept, the threesome aspect of the Bedlam Butchers is an interesting one. There's something surprisingly tender about the Beast, Shy, and Muscle family group if you can forget that the guys are murderers. I can, it's not reality. But Ms. Dixon, the men are rich and they buy her a new wardrobe at Walmart? That was the only part that offended me, not the two on one action, that was great. Come on, at least have them take that poor girl to Target, she serviced the both of them at once!

This is a menage series, so make sure you are acceptable of that before reading. Shy, Beast and Muscle are all great characters. I really liked that Shy was timid and not sure of her place in the world. With these two hunky bikers, that are the enforcers for the club, it really allows her to step out of her shell and become her own person. I always enjoy a good low confidence story that turns into a person have some back bone. I loved Beast more than Muscle, only because they didn't explore Muscles issues in depth. If you like steam and a good motorcycle club story, then you'll enjoy this!

I have read all the books from start to I would say finish, but the stories just keep coming. These books are well written and always interesting. The books are short, but so well written if you are a fan of MC stories you need to read the whole series.
