This series is how I first began reading Ellis Leigh's work and I am now proud to say that I'm a fan for life. I read each of these stories when they were originally released and loved them all. After reading the first, Claiming His Desire, I was seriously addicted and eagerly awaited each new release. And no, not because they ended with a cliffhanger because they don't. Although you do see many of the same characters in all the stories, each is a standalone story with its very own happy-ever-after ending. Having books one through three in one bundle is a great convenience for rereading, however, and this series is definitely on my reread list. The Feral Breed MC series is made up of standalone books, each with an HEA, but the background provided in earlier books gives them additional richness when read in order. You absolutely cannot go wrong with this bundle.Book One features Rebel, the two hundred year old alpha. Book Two features Gates, a four hundred year old Gatekeeper. And Book Three features Pup, a turned wolf of ten years, a prospect. Leigh gives equal weight to each of their stories, and leaves the reader wanting much more of the Feral Breed.

Ellis Leigh does a wonderful job of creating the shifter world and getting you addicted to the characters! She seamlessly weaves the story from book one through the current books, adding little bits of detail along the way that make her world so much richer.The heroes are rough and swoonworthy, and the heroines are strong and capable. Not to mention, all three of these books are steamy and so, so well-written. Each book focuses on one couple and their story, so I would consider the books stand-alone, which I love, but also part of the series at large. You'll devour them and then go back and re-read your favorite parts. They're just that good!
