It started off really good.((spoiler alert))The hero and heroine had a great connection and I was rooting for them in book 1. As I moved through the books they fell apart as the plot grew. As a die hard romance reader I was hoping this would involve a great get together, grovel or something to give the story a climactic end. Instead the heroine ends up with another guy after a major incident and while I understood that I think I was annoyed and not as invested in guy 2 since there was such great chemistry and intro with guy 1. Individually and all together it was okay but I prefer the two characters I meet in the beginning to ride off in to the sunset together.

Netya really grows into her own as we reach the climax of the story, and you're left itching for a second season to continue her growth.It's true that the story turns into more one of Netya's own maturation and exploration than a simple happily-ever-after romance. But I feel like the plot and characters are more memorable as a result. I actually finished reading this months ago and can still recall many of the scenes fondly while the straight romances I've read in the interim are lost to the mists of time. So --- definitely worth a read.

It is the story of two damaged people and their journey towards healing, growth, and self discovery.Trevor Mackay and Caprice (Prie) Greer have both lived lives filled with tragedy and shame. Even though the meet under dreadful circumstances, their connection is undeniable. What happens when broken souls find one another? Can they mend each other or will their pasts stand in the way of their future?I have thoroughly enjoyed this series. Each book has had a great storyline filled with action, suspense, and wonderful characters. This book was a bit different, it followed a different formula, and it totally worked! While it still had an interesting story, it was much more character driven. She focused our attention on Trevor and Prie, who they were and their journey. Green allows us to connect with these characters and truly feel for them. We see them grow and change throughout the book. They felt so real to me and I wanted good things for them, I wanted them to succeed, to heal.Green did not disappoint with this latest installment and I can't wait to see what she brings us next.

By budgie The writing style was so slow, dull, & dreary I could barely keep my eyes open at times. There were several inconsistencies (Actually how old were Trevor & Hattie when they were together? Did Trevor have lots of sexual experience with women or not?), some downright unbelievable situations (e.g. Prie gets out of a perfectly good working car to walk hours in the wintry snow to get Trevor help because she fears getting caught on a remote road driving without a license???? Sorry, not many cops out that way plus there was a telephone inside the house), & chronological mistakes (Trevor can't remember his girlfriend Hattie's little sister Prie even through she was 5 y.o. when they moved away?). Still couldn't figure out how they knew about Prie let alone got a hold of her & why she travelled to this neck of the woods.Like the two preceding novels the narrative was dry & repetitive, there was little action, & the use of the same slow-motion narrative tone throughout had the effect of blending all the main characters into one indecipherable being. I didn't like that this third female MC had essentially the same back story as Shiloh from the second book - not a great way to create interest or tension in the storyline.The author's torture of the English language (I.e. repeated use of non-words like "prolly") comes across as juvenile & makes the characters sound illiterate.After many MANY attempts & a real desire to finish the series, my head just couldn't take the banging anymore & I quit 1/3 of the way through.I don't know where all the great reviews came from - perhaps they were paid to write them???

A love that was written before they ever even knew each other.Two beautiful souls looking for acceptance, peace and love. But, how can two people with troubled and scarred past move forward?Vicki has done it again. She has a way of grabbing the reader and sucking them into the story. She gives us Trevor the amazing strong man that is always helping others. putting others first. How can we not fall for him. His story will gut you!Caprice, Prie, she one strong female and man did Vicki give us one heck of a heroine! We will love, hurt and cry with her. But, most importantly we will heal with her.Vicki, you are awesome lady. 5 stars an absolute must read and yes, we get our previous couples and Oooohhhhh I can't wait for Nash!!!!

10 of 11 people found the following review helpful. Ugh. By dodger I'm so disappointed. I've read the other 2 books in this series and loved them. Couldn't wait until this one came out. And then this bomb dropped on me.There was all this unhappiness and angst until 5 minutes from the end. And keep in mind that last few pages included the epilogue where she sets up the next book which will be about the brother in law, Dax. So what I'm saying is that I read this entire book with only a smidge of romance between the main characters. I feel awful after finishing this. I still feel like crying for poor Kenzi. :-(Conner was a horrible mate and his ability to continually hurt Mackenzie was never justified or understood. He was a whiny, self centered a**. Very unlikable.I can't recommend this one. Sorry.

I read these stories for the fun and utter sexiness of the chase to bind two to one. Cases in point, the first two stories in this series. This one was a total downer. Frankly, it really pissed me off. What could have been a short struggle with his bear to get in tune with him ended up with Connor taking 96% of the story to get his stuff together. Come on! This was totally unacceptable. I feel like I was robbed of money and time. I doubt I will be buying anymore stories from this author.

This was more about planning a wedding than a story about the H&h... no build up, they are MATES, so i guess no romance or story is required.The getting of the BadGuy was brief, and the internal and infernal monolouge of the lead was endless... well.. not endless, it was a short story... and for that i am grateful, because i couldn't take much more.Sad, because the first two were kinda fun and sweet. One was the best of the set, two was good, and this one continued the direction.I know the next will be about her brother, and i simply dont care.Please excuse punctuation and spelling errors, i am inputting this review on a device, because i thought it important enough to share before i forgot my dissapointment and remove it from my device.

Forget that. Who doesn't want a man built like an Adonis who just happens to be filthy stinking rich? AND he can cook. Sign me up.I was expecting a few flirtations and then one steamy sexy encounter. Instead I got a few flirtations and one steamy sexy encounter plus a dirty kitchen romp. I call that a full 9 chapters!I'm eager to see where this all goes. There is a good mystery thriller mixed up in all this. I have a feeling I know who the culprit is. But I'll reserve my guesses to see if I'm actually right.I wish the second book was already out. If it's anything like this, I'm definitely going to be looking for more of Alexa's books.

I have had a hard time finding good short reads. This one has them all. It is a serial, with a cliff hanger--however all the parts are available. After reading the first I had to have them all an I do You can buy the boxed set, use KIndle Unlimited or buy one at a time, but you Wil make it a keeper.

It introduces you to Sarah the cop and Colin the billionaire bear shifter. There are some really good juicy/spicy parts, but really it is a teaser to start you on the path of the story to want to read more. And the author does of good job of providing just the right amount of mystery for you to want to continue reading and find out who-dun-it. Enjoy!

Watched from afar as he rose up the ranks in our company and quickly became a globally known producer in the industry. Always knew there was something different about this man, but could never put my finger as to what it was. Then one faithful evening over dinner, I was pleasantly surprised when he and his wife asked to hear more about my personal story. Here I am trying to figure out what made Pedro so successful, yet he was the one asking to know more about me; wouldn't be the first time he modeled a servant's heart. That evening I shared with them my past battles of verbal abuse in my family home, struggles with alcohol/drug/sex abuse, and constant need for approval from others. Pedro heard these stories and agreed to mentor and support me in my spiritual walk with The Lord.Through the past 3 years, Pedro has kept his word and been here every step of the way; and I know that he will continue this walk with me for as long as he or I live. In this book is the teachings he so graciously started with me on that faithful evening over dinner which has helped me to find my Identity, Purpose and the Steps to truly living a Finished Life. By Bong Tongol Pedro Adao is an 'apostolic' leader and is one of those 'rare' breed of leaders who writes from the fiery furnace of personal experiences. One who knows how to mentor others and to communicate what he knows and has full of 'extraordinary' insights that will help you become the 'dynamic' leader GOD wants you to be! It is indeed is the substance of everything we hoped for...it will transform your life and give power to your walk. Life Changing Book That Challenges You By Jordan Friedlander I met Pedro at a prophecy class at the Mission and God gave me some very personal info about his life that I couldn't know unless I knew him and I did not know him. That moment caused Pedro to look at wanting to get to know me better and I am glad that it did because we have done some great things together and both have such a desire to live a finished life. He is a man of great integrity and honor. I am not surprised that God chose Pedro to write this transformational book. I have read spiritual books before but this connected on a level that could only be described as Heaven to Earth. I love all of the books that I have read and they helped me in my walk with God. This book informs you that life isn't easy but also teaches you how to make the absolute most out of the life that God gave you. Pedro did not leave any stone unturned in his pursuit to live a finished life and peeled back the curtains and let us see what his journey has been like and what it will continue to be. The book gives good information on nutrition, training , supplementation and the mindset necessary for competition. I love that the book keeps it as a simple to follow guide. As a certified personal trainer, I will recommend this book to my clients who have an interest in competing.
