About the Author Kim Robinson is a native Texan. She and her husband have six children, fourteen grandchildren, and enjoy spending time with family. Passionate about parenting, she writes and speaks about a variety of issues facing parents with teenagers in crisis. She has been a speaker at women’s retreats, local worship events and various women’s organizations. Her interview with Steve Arterburn of New Life Ministries for a Club New Life CD was distributed to CNL members nationwide. Kim and her son were featured during a local news series on teen Drug Court. Along with various professionals in the field of addiction treatment, she was an author panelist at an event hosted by Disease of Addiction, founded to educate communities about addiction. The panel was presented to local ISD educators where attendees received continuing education credit. Panel members spoke about addiction in teenagers. Kim is active in various ministries at her church, formerly active in the Kairos prison ministry, and a past parent representative on the National Council of Juvenile Justice and Family Court Judges. She enjoys blogging, reading, gospel and blues music, singing, and keeping her grandchildren.

I knew that Chased by Grace was not a light read. That being said, I stayed up until the wee hours of the night to finish this riveting story of Pamela and her 2 children. The amount of pain that was inflicted on this family by incest and betrayal is almost too hard to imagine. What shines through, however, is Pamela's never ending love for her children and her unshakeable faith and trust in God. During the family's difficult journey through pain, depression and addiction, there is always hope, and her love for her family and God only deepens in ways that are profound. The book also contains a lot of good, practical advice and reference materials for anyone dealing with family crisis or addiction.
