3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Sweet, Sensitive and Exceptionally Well Done By C Patterson I went into this book not knowing what to expect. Religion is a touchy subject. While the book delved into the controversy that the church was facing, it didn't feel preachy or controversial at all. The romance between Louisa and Andrew was sweet and lovely. As a Christian reader, I absolutely loved it! I cannot wait to read the next book. There was particularly one special part that spoke to my soul and brought me to tears. Bravo, Ms. Farmer! Well-done indeed!

She takes a very real problem in many Churches and yet, we watch a beautiful romance with a lot of twists along the way. I highly recommend this! You will love the characters and the rich history.

The pains she has taken to deal with some very delicate situations that can a rise in some churches and how she weaves the story in out is art in its self. I could relate with so much of this book. Yes this book deals with a religious aspects but is absolutely not at all preachy but instead a beautifully written story. Can't wait for the next book to come out.
