Through this guide I learned the connectivity between emotion and action, and feel better prepared to combat aggression or sadness using the psychological methods Edwards outlines. Readers will find meditative breathing among these techniques, a method that is so simple and takes very little time out of the day to practice. I found that these small tips can make big changes in a hectic life, and recommend this guide to anyone struggling with overcoming rash behavior or needing a little help when it comes to self-awareness and putting a name to their thoughts and feelings.

The title alone will make anyone realize that this is the book to read if one is looking for some ways to have better control over his emotions, behaviors, and even desires.Reading this book has opened a lot of closed doors in my mind. I have read statements here that hit home. Straight to my heart. I find this book very helpful, so overwhelming. I am able to learn a lot from it too. It contains easy to follow steps that will help me enhance as well as develop my self-control. These qualities are very important in my line of work. I also personally appreciate the discussion about Developing Gratitude.
